Welcome to our site.

The Bennett family live on a mini farm located south of Virginia Beach, in a rural setting known to the locals as "Pungo". We are currently fostering two wild horses for the Virginia Wild Horse Rescue Association. The two horses claim two of our four acres and the dogs have the rest to train, play and lounge. Our house is their favorite hangout and all of our Berners are welcomed into our home. This is a breed that longs to be where it's loved ones are. They are not happy living solely in a kennel or as an "outside" dog.

Our puppies are born and raised in our home. They go from our house to yours at about 8 weeks of age. Although we do have an air conditioned kennel for our adult dogs and visiting dogs, we use this building as little as possible. Since, I believe that it's important that our puppies are well accustomed to the sights and sounds of a family setting, they are not introduce to the kennel at all. They receive a lot of attention from our family, neighbors and friends during those crucial first weeks, setting the ground work for well adjusted, outgoing personalities. We encourage you to visit so that we can talk about the breed and you can meet our wonderful family of Berners. Please call if you have questions about this breed or if you would like to visit us. 757-721-3598 Sincerely, Donna Bennett, breeder

MISSION STATEMENT

Our goal is to enjoy our dogs and give them back all the love, and joy they bring to our family and never collect so many that we cannot include each and every one as a family member. At the same time, continue to learn & grow through experience, so that we can produce beautiful , intelligent, and healthy AKC registered Bernese Mountain Dog puppies.
